Each unit ships with both a PtP radio pair as well a 3G/4G capable router for the ultimate in communication flexibility

Flexible communication options from an integrated fail-safe router that can switch from Point-to-Point (PtP) local traffic connections – where Line-of-Site (LoS) and Near LoS are available – to WAN over 3G/4G cellular. In an ideal setting one would utilize PtP whenever possible as there is no additional charge for the bandwidth utilized. However there are many cases where this is not available, and the inclusion of the cellular capable router provides your link in those cases. Built-in GPS receiver allows for monitoring of the unit’s location in real time, good for those unplanned excursions (asset recovery)!

POINT-TO-POINT (PtP) & POINT-TO-MULTI-POINT (PtMP):

  • LoS and Near LoS radio pairs from Ubiquiti Networks are typically used
  • 900MHz, 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency ranges (public safety bands are also available, but require special permissions)
  • Receiving antennas can be Directional (PtP) as well as Sector (90, 120, and combinations) for PtMP
  • Mesh configuration available

3G/4G CAPABLE WIRELESS ROUTER:

  • GPRS/EDGE, HSDPA, HSUPA, HSPA+, LTE capable

SECURITY:

  • Security: IPSec DES, 3DES and AES up to 256-bit encryption
  • Built in GPS receiver for asset tracking and recovery. Alert based monitoring on motion/velocity triggers.
